Horrified by the antisemitic attack in our city. Antisemitism is vile and has no place here. Solidarity with the Jewish community in Golders Green - and with our communities across the country who will be feeling this today.

Now comes the social media double whammy. Four ambulances of a volunteer service for north west London, staffed and financed by the Jewish community for everyone's use, are destroyed. That's followed by social media posts attacking Jews for having their own ambulance service...which we don't have. Because they are an act of charity. For everyone. It's like saying St John's Ambulance is 'for Christians'. Which it isn't. It's also for everyone. But it's Jews, so what does the truth matter?

What kind of maniacs attack a fleet of ambulances? The culprits must be caught and punished with exemplary severity - to show that antisemitism has no place in Britain.

It relies 100% on private donations and community fundraising rather than government or public NHS funding. - While operating in largely Jewish areas, it services Jews and non-Jews equally. You may not deem it necessary to include this information, and in a perfect world it would not be. However, these are the two lies being spread by antisemites in order to justify the attack and use it to spread even more hostility against the Jewish people. Please include these facts.
