THE SPLIT INDIA MISSION CREW: These three Ukrainian nationals, identified as war veterans, were taken into custody at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. The trio: - Petro Hurba (36), - Taras Slyviak (37), - and Ivan Sukmanovskyi (34) have been booked under Section 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Ukrainians held in Lucknow had arrived in India from the UAE on Dec 18, 2025. They later travelled through Mizoram and crossed into Myanmar’s Chin State. The tracking was aided by the timely submission of "Form C" by a Lucknow hotel owner, where the men stayed after returning from the Northeast. The suspects were attempting to fly to Kuala Lumpur when they were intercepted.

Pradyut Bordoloi, one of the most corrupt, manipulative power-brokers Assam has ever seen, has now joined @BJP4Assam.

This Indian researcher and traveler says he was scammed of ₹72 lakh by an IIT Roorkee professor. He says he spent years developing a method to extract gold from electronic waste. Computer boards contain small amounts of gold, but it is rarely recycled in India. After years of work, he successfully separated gold without burning the waste. To continue his work, he needed a laboratory. So he approached a professor from IIT Roorkee. The professor agreed and allowed him to use the lab on a pay-per-use basis. Meanwhile, a government scheme approved funding of around ₹72 lakh for the project, but the money was delayed. So he continued using his own savings, around ₹50 to ₹60 lakh. As the project started showing results, he says the professor asked to be included in the patent. He refused. After this, he dismantled his setup and sold it as scrap. He also says the ₹72 lakh government funding was taken by the professor.

why are police officials so heartless? One of my business friends runs a fairly well known restaurant in #VimanNagar. The @PuneCityPolice SI from the Viman Nagar Police Station keep calling him, saying there is a complaint against him. Every time he goes there, they make him and his 75 year-old mother wait for hours. Eventually they just ask them to leave because the complainant “couldn’t turn up.” This has been happening repeatedly for the past 4 days. This is exactly the kind of harassment that makes many hardworking Indians seriously consider moving out of the country. It’s extremely frustrating to see citizens treated like this. @CPPuneCity @CMOMaharashtra you guys are taking salary for free?
