We had to intubate another previously healthy 22y/o for covid. More than half of our ICU patients who came in for covid are under 40 right now. All unvaccinated. Will they survive? Most of them. Will they be the same mentally & physically? Not for a long time. Get vaccinated

Every time I see JK Rowling trending I just know she's gotten involved in some dumb fuckery again. I'm not even gonna check what it is this time, as I'm sure it'll just make me lose faith in humanity again. I will reaffirm that I love all my trans friends. Take care today.

So JK Rowling has had hundreds of threats sent to her because she's transphobic? Well, I've had thousands of threats sent to me because of JK Rowling. Two wrongs don't make a right, but let's not forget who started this fight, Jo, and let's not forget who has the bigger hammer.

the reality is that jk rowling could’ve kept completely quiet on her thoughts on trans people and simply been one of those people that secretly donates huge sums of money to hate groups and never had that blemish on her reputation.

If you still actively support JK Rowling, who is CONTINUING to use her Twitter platform of 14 million people to demonize trans people, now is a better time than any to just…stop

what's actually amazing about jk rowling is that she had so much accumulated goodwill amongst fans, enough that people were lining up round the block for every new scrap of hp marginalia she released, and she managed to blow it all in a couple of years by leaning in to terfism.

Leaving the same literary agency as JK Rowling felt awful at the time, particularly in the aftermath. A year later, I've healed & moved on. Standing up for what you believe in is challenging & freeing. Being trans isn't a debate, it's our lived experience / quest for happiness
