It has now been one year since Mahjabeen Baloch, a polio survivor, was forcibly disappeared from Quetta on 29 May 2025, abducted by security forces. For twelve long months her family has been forced into a painful and exhausting limbo, living without any answers, official information or legal clarity regarding her fate or whereabouts.This prolonged uncertainty has left her family emotionally devastated. Mahjabeen’s case is deeply alarming and reflects the ongoing pattern of enforced disappearances in Balochistan where individuals are taken without due process and families are left behind to endure prolonged trauma and suffering. The targeting of women including those with disabilities raises serious and urgent human rights concerns that demand immediate attention. We urge the authorities to bring Mahjabeen before a court of law and ensure that all actions are carried out in accordance with due process and the law. #ReleaseMahjabeenBaloch #SaveBalochWomen

We condemn the extrajudicial killings of Khuda Peer Muhammad & Abdullah Baloch in #Kech, and Ayaz Baloch in #Panjgur. These incidents highlight ongoing enforced disappearances, targeted killings & human rights violations in #Balochistan.

Ghani Baloch was detained on 25 May while traveling from Khuzdar to Karachi in a passenger coach. Frontier Corps stopped the vehicle near #Khuzdar & took him into custody. No official statement has been issued about his arrest, whereabouts or legal status. #EnforcedDisappearance

Enforced Disappearance of Altaf Hussain Baloch PAANK strongly condemns the enforced disappearance of Altaf Hussain Baloch (27), son of Ellahi Bakhsh, a resident of Geshkore, Awaran. He was abducted on 2 May 2026 from Hub Chowki by CTD personnel. This incident reflects the continuing pattern of unlawful detentions and enforced disappearances in Balochistan. Such actions violate fundamental human rights and leave families in prolonged anguish and uncertainty.

The pattern of enforced disappearances followed by extrajudicial killings reflects a systematic campaign against the Baloch population. Saeed Muhammad was forcibly disappeared on 9 December 2025 and killed after 145 days, his body recovered on 3 May 2026. Khuda Peer Muhammad and his son Abdullah Baloch were forcibly disappeared on 2 May 2026 and killed within hours. Ayaz Baloch was target killed on 30 April 2026 in Panjgur. These cases demonstrate a consistent and deliberate pattern of abuse. These actions constitute clear violations of international human rights obligations. The right to life under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights is being breached. Enforced disappearance violates established international protections, while extrajudicial killings and arbitrary detention contravene prohibitions on unlawful deprivation of life and inhuman treatment. Such actions are incompatible with legal guarantees of fundamental rights. The victims were denied due process, access to independent courts, and the right to legal representation. Authorities failed to disclose their whereabouts during detention, placing them outside legal protection. This conduct reflects a serious breach of constitutional safeguards and the rule of law. The continued lack of accountability and international response risks normalizing these violations. Independent and transparent investigations are required into each case. Those responsible must be held accountable in accordance with the law.
