The Potez 62 was a French airliner of 1935, its design made it a transitional aircraft between the more archaic Wibault 280 and the modern Bloch MB.220 in the Air France fleet. It was considered robust and safe for the transport of 16 passengers. © ECPAD

O’Hara became the 1st female president of a scheduled U.S. airline, Antilles Air Boats, after Blair’s passing. The company featured a fleet of 25+ planes including Grumman Geese. Just over a decade after her husband’s death, O’Hara helped open of the museum in 1989.
