Another weird incident today. Another volunteer is using my pop-up along highway 1A. He texted me just as I was heading downtown to do my call-in show on the @WesternStandar1 "Something odd happening here. There are two mini vans sitting with eyes on me. One in xxxxx' old spot, and one in the field approach 100 yds east. Both have been here for more than half an hour. " I got that message at 12:10 pm, and dispatched another volunteer to join them. I told them I would swing by on my way back around 3:00 pm. I mentioned the two vans in my show. 1/

A Minister lying to the public he is sworn to serve about a matter of such grave importance is a mandatory resignation. Let's have it before noon Friday. There's a war on, after all.

At 3:00 pm I went to the vehicle on the north side of the highway. Prior to filming, I asked him why he had been parked there for 3 hours. The first words out of his mouth were that he was an RCMP officer. He also told me he had been there for 2 days. He then started filming me, so I returned the favour and started filming him. He changed his story to being an investigator, when I challenged him about being an RCMP officer. 2/

WOW Defence Minister David McGuinty initially suggested he first learned of the March 1 airstrike on a Canadian base in Kuwait from a March 12 La Presse report. He later clarified he was informed during a government briefing "while abroad with the prime minister."

I give you the near-grid county map of Iowa (1). Almost the entire state is laid out in 1-square mile grids divided by roads. Case in point (2), a two-by-two mile area centered around my boyhood home. Note the divisions; the green square is exactly 160 acres. Easy to divide.

Because the USA is denominated in miles. There are 640 acres in a square mile. 640 can be divided by 2 easily. A square half mile is 160 acres, a square 1/4 mile is 40 acres, a square 1/8 mile is 10 acres. Nobody in America knows what a kilometer is, let alone a hectare

@nationalpost If the defence minister was not informed until after media reports 11 days later, then who is he firing from his department??? Either he resigns or he fires staff for not informing him. These are the only acceptable options.
