@1followernodad Before seeing this I would have considered “delve” proof that a piece WAS written by a college student

this sucks for real life delve-heads
C. E. Aubin?@ceaubin
POV you're about to grade a paper that definitely wasn't written by AI

@JayElHarris Lol thanks, it’s just weird for her to rewrite history using the paranoia of today. I loved sleepaway camp and definitely plan to send my kids when they’re ready!!
English

@JayElHarris I did a book event this week where I talked about reading a naughty book while at sleepaway camp (a formative experience that made me a writer) and my mom (who sent me to that camp!) freaked out bc in 2024 retrospect she now feels neglectful

@NewWestSarah Def but I also see certain notable mommy accounts on here posting smug, sarcastic things like “Ooh feel sorry for me, I get to sleep in, snuggle my babies, and rest when I need instead of going to an office!!” I don’t think anybody chooses a deficit of rest
English

@clhubes I WISH their existence had any bearing on my choices
English

@clhubes I work a 9-to-5 even though rich people exist because their existence just isn’t relevant to my life over here!!
English

@cdonosowriter Oh yeah it’s ridiculous for all the reasons, but even if we read it as “Why would anyone choose to work for a living when she could be a SAHM with a lovely family and home,” it’s still ridiculous because those options are not available to all!!!!
English

@ShandersWrites Also, this is a glaringly obvious false binary. You can work 9 to 5 and the frolic in the fields on Saturday, no? And does this fantasy not require the husband to be at HIS 9 to 5 instead of frolicking? Just what?? It's so ridiculous
English

@sewistwrites Thanks for explaining this—I guess I’m out tomorrow too
