Hypothetically speaking, even if the ticket is zoned to the South and Tinubu defeats Obi and goes on to do 8 years, I’m sure you guys will still be on Twitter arguing that Obi should run again in 2031 to “rescue Nigeria,” insisting that competence should matter more than where a President comes from.

It’s very simple. Zone the ticket to the south. That’s all. Zone it to the south, and you have solved every single problem. In 2031, zone it back to the north. Any other thing is a waste of everybody’s time.

A man who wants to be president of Nigeria, built a university in Nigeria and named it "The American University of Nigeria" Someone who wants to lead Nigeria should build institutions that project Nigerian confidence. If your biggest university project in Nigeria carries the name of another country, it simply means you do not believe in the Nigerian identity that you want to lead. True Nigerian leaders should promote Nigerian excellence. Naming your university after another country simply means you believe that prestige must come from foreign branding and that the name Nigeria is not good enough. A presidential candidate who built one of the most expensive universities in the country branded around America is definitely disconnected from the educational realities of ordinary Nigerians. Atiku will never be the president that brings a new Nigeria. Atiku will never be President of Nigeria.
