This isn't technically about Arirang but I kept noticing Joonie changing his opening for 'Not Today' from "all the underdogs in the world" to "all the sad people in the world." I found it interesting, wondered why, and I could be wrong but here's my theory.
There's no longer a need to address this song from the PoV/mouths of underdogs to uplift them. BTS & ARMY technically are no longer that. But now, it's being started as a song of encouragement to all. We all go through sadness for some reason or another be it temporary or long term, mild or severe but...
"A day may come where we lose, but it is not today. Today we fight!"

@spinneroftales_ shows they are misogynistic pieces of 💩
English

@spinneroftales_ Our fandom is also conformed of queer people, straight men, old women with a family or who see the members more as a parent would se their children. The fact no one says this about men who like sports (telling them they just like it because they want to fuck the players) just +
English

They see women having interest and think we just want to fuck someone because there is no way our interests are genuine and not superficial. And people still say they don't hate on BT5 and their fandom due to a misogynistic mindset...

????? I don’t even want BTS to be my boyfriend. They’re just silly dorks who love music and whom I want to be besties with
English

@ANerdNamedJerry be out of the closet and find other openly queer people in a conservative country, living in a conservative town while having a conservative family
English

@ANerdNamedJerry Like if I live in a country where over 90% of the people say they are straight of course it's gonna be "easier" to find someone of the opposite sex if you are bi, especially if you live in a really conservative place. Some people don't realize how it is a privilege to be able to+
English

You can notice the difference, especially if the fandom is big in the west. No fanarts, no fanfics, almost no fan content. Sorry but female fandoms are much more fun, they use lots of different forms of expression (music, writing, drawing, dancing, edits, fashion, etc)

@kewchysupremacy @ninifems omg you guys are genuinely biphobic, you are not even trying to hide it
English

@ninifems thinking about this influencer i used to follow who is married to a man and came out on her insta only for all her followers to comment “you’re married who cares”. she straight up posted herself crying on her insta bc no one was accepting her 😭
English

@ninifems This type of logic is so stupid, so you don't see a point in coming out as gay/lesbian if you have been single all your life and you don't plan to date someone yet? is sexuaility some kind of performance where you need to portray your sexual identity in a correct way or you fail?

I don't think it's too woke. The fact that he chose to have his hair that long (he never had that length in his life) after he came out of the military (a place where they are controled 24/7) is kind of an obvious way of taking back control over his own life and body
⁷@seokrirangs
idk maybe i’m too woke but i think commenting on jimins long hair in a negative way after he’s come so far with accepting himself is very very weird behaviour

@seekingHYYH just because they like Yellow, Viva la vida, Sky full of stars, Fix You and The Scientist. They don't even need to know their whole discography
English

@seekingHYYH Same with Coldplay, they did like 10+ dates in Argentina in 2022 and a lot of people were GP and casual fans. I attended the concert to see Jin and some people were there because Coldplay is just iconic and they have so many songs the GP love. Some people would attend the show +
English

theyre a household name with a good rep of live performances, ofcourse casuals are gonna tap in if they get the chance. it's not really a trend thing, but moreso that generational acts are very embedded in pop culture that nobody misses on a chance to go and be part of the crowd.
ari⁷ is SEEING BTS 6/12💜@arii_arts
Is it becoming a trend to go to bangtan’s concert? 😭😭😭😭 why suddenly everyone around me saying they wanna go to bts concert even though they are not an army??😭😭😭 thank god my concert has passed and i already have my ticket for next concert..
