The Commons have sat and have rejected the Lord's Amendment 265 They've put forward the clarification (Amendment 264a, Section 67H 4B) clarifying "fanciful images" are not included in the bill. It will now be reviewed to see if this amendment is successful on the 16th April

We may have to wait until the legislation is totally finished to be certain, but from what I can remember reading it includes drawn depictions, and the thing is, if you look at other kinds of porn that are illegal in the UK, the law explicitly includes stylized depictions such as anime and cartoons

From what I have read yes, it includes all depictions whether real, drawn or AI, which would follow the pattern of how the UK regulates other forms of illegal pornography. What laws do you think it would contradict? Platforms cannot control things effectively, but they will follow whatever demands the UK government demands they take to prevent publication of contents they deem illegal, and if they don't then they are either fined, or block access to the UK, but for the most part, they do what is asked of them, this is the primary reason age verification is everywhere now.
