Ayan, maliwanag sa computation ng SM ang SC/PWD discount. ₱100 ang nabili ko, so binawasan ng 12%VAT (100/1.12=89.286). Then get the 20% (89.286x.20=17.857) Then, deduct that from the ₱17.857 from ₱89.286 (89.286-17.857=71.429) Ergo, sa ₱100 na nabili ko, ang binayaran ko lang ay ₱71.43. So, para easier ang life niyo, always multiply your purchase by the FACTOR “point i love you” (.7143), assuming that the merchant is giving full discount. Thus, ₱100 purchase multiply by the factor ₱100x.7143=₱71.43. Easy?
