Privatised water "investors" don't invest in infrastructure to clean up sewage and stop leaks YOU are the investment - you have no choice but to use their services and pay your bills Who benefits from the x2 increase in sewage in English rivers and seas last year? 👇

As this year ends, I've learned an important lesson that I want to share with all of you. Often, the biggest obstacles to our success are the wrong kinds of influences—people we once helped or those we considered friends. It's disheartening to see jealousy and negativity in various communities and businesses, especially within climbing circles. However, success is attainable for everyone if we are willing to wholeheartedly commit to our dreams and missions, going beyond what others believe to be possible, and forging new paths. It's about more than setting records; it's about breaking new ground and redefining what's achievable.   I've personally faced numerous risks, having ventured 44 times into the treacherous realm of 8000m peaks alone, not to mention countless other challenging mountains. Each time, I put my life on the line, often spending almost 11 months a year away from my family. Sacrifices like these are what it takes to achieve great things.   If you are willing to put your life on the line in the harshest conditions to save others, enabling them to return to their families, then success will undoubtedly be within your grasp. It's about embodying a generous spirit and genuine humanity. I feel compelled to mention that despite undertaking numerous rescue missions in the Himalayas, I have never sought any financial gain from these efforts, unlike many others in similar situations.   During K2 winter, I conceived the idea of leading all 10 Nepalese climbers to the summit simultaneously, each sharing in equal glory, success, and respect. This achievement marked the greatest feat in mountaineering history, never accomplished in winter until 2021. It was a global first and a historic event. If we could all embrace such shared camaraderie and support in our respective endeavors, we would undoubtedly earn the respect and admiration of others. Success isn't just about grandstanding; it's about embodying unwavering dedication and sincerity. To achieve such feats, one must have a profound and genuine compassion ingrained within them.   This past year, I've had the privilege of sponsoring over 10 climbers on nine 8000m mountains, investing significantly from my own resources. If we can all find it in our hearts to give back in such profound ways, spreading happiness becomes an inherent part of our lives. And let's not forget the incredible work achieved by the @nimsdaiFNDN , which has further expanded on these efforts.   To those who harbor ill will, I urge you to reconsider. Let's focus our energy on creating positive change and uplifting others. There's already enough negativity in the world. Let's choose to support each other and spread more light and warmth in the coming year. Together, we can make a real difference. 🙌🏽🙏🏽 Reflecting on the past year, I've been through so much - highs, lows, and countless lessons. Each experience has made me stronger than ever before. Here's to embracing the challenges and triumphs of the past, and stepping into 2024 with determination, resilience, and an open heart. Let's make 2024 truly groundbreaking! #nimsdai

Everyone you know is on that dot. This was the Cassini spacecraft’s view of Earth from 898 million miles (1.44 billion km) away as the probe looked beyond Saturn’s rings. Who’s someone you haven’t connected with in a while? Consider this your cosmic invitation to reach out (thanks for the reminder, @Surgeon_General). You were #MadeToConnect.
