10/11 The legacy and momentum of mad/survivor/service user activism paved the way for the StopSIM campaign. That momentum will not stop here. We encourage all those who have capacity to continue resisting SIM and the criminalisation of distress in whatever way you can. #STOPSIM

🧵1/11 It is with sadness we announce that the StopSIM Coalition is disbanding. We offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who’s been a part of or supported this grassroots resistance, and helped push for change within mental health practice. #STOPSIM

Similarly if you have ideas for ways to support the wider campaign through investigative research, FOIs, local campaigning etc, please do so. We will follow up on leads if/when we are able to. In solidarity #STOPSIM 7/7
