Based in Costa Rica, Diana brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our team. With a background in commercial and operations management for brands like Life Fitness and Salvatore Ferragamo, Diana's strategic thinking and project management skills will be valuable.

We are highlighting Dr. Franciele Regiane Rohden from the General Pediatric Hospital “Niños de Acosta Ñu” in Paraguay. In 2023, Dr. Rohden completed a six-month training in Pediatric Cardiovascular Imaging at the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital in Madrid, Spain.

Let’s explore the diagnostic methods that play a crucial role in identifying congenital heart diseases (CHDs), which are structural heart issues present from birth. Early detection is a critical factor in improving heart health.

hese artificial valves have saved countless lives by replacing damaged or diseased heart valves, restoring normal blood flow and heart function. Advances in prosthetic valve technology continue to enhance the outcomes for children and adults with CHDs.

Did you know that the development of prosthetic heart valves in the 1960s revolutionized the treatment of congenital heart defects (CHDs)?

But don’t go overboard, as too much of a good thing can be bad for you. And don’t forget to eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and check your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

And make sure to choose dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content, as it has more flavonoids and less additives than milk or white chocolate. So, the next time you crave something sweet, treat yourself to a small piece of dark chocolate and enjoy its heart-healthy benefits.
