As a seed buried in the dirt in order to grow, you're going to feel the heaviness from the weight of the dirt, especially once it gets watered; however that soil(dirt) and water is NEEDED for your GROWTH so that you RECEIVE the nutrients(push) in order to IMPACTFULLY grow.

My wife is traveling with a layover in Nashville and saw this ad from @MeharryMedical . I AM HERE FOR THIS! If you are going to do an airport ad, really any ad, if it isn’t something people will share and talk about, you’ve wasted your money. This is how you do an ad.

Why Big Pharma Keeps Moving the Goalposts on Blood Pressure Numbers -- Turning Healthy People into Patients for Profit? Historical "Normal" BP Shifts: - 1940: 100 + your age (e.g., 170/95 fine for a 70yr old) - 1970: 160/90 - 2000: 140/90 - 2025: Must be under 120/80, or you're "hypertensive" The Profit Machine: - Anti-hypertensive drugs raked in $36.7 BILLION in 2024 alone - Lower thresholds = more diagnoses = more lifelong prescriptions - Meds don't fix root causes, just symptoms—leading to more pills for side effects Hidden Dangers of BP Meds: - Chronic cough - Low sodium & potassium - Dizziness & headaches - Dehydration & muscle cramps - Gout & joint pain - Insomnia, nightmares, & depression - Slow heartbeat & heart palpitations - Asthma symptoms - Sexual/erectile dysfunction - Fainting & kidney issues - Angioedema (swelling of face/tongue) - Very low BP increases chronic illness & mortality risk, especially in seniors Natural Ways to Optimize Your BP (No Pill Deficiency Here!): - Adopt a whole-food, low-carb diet prioritizing nutrient-dense animal foods - Eliminate seed oils, processed junk, & sugar - Boost potassium & magnesium via unrefined mineral salts & targeted supplements—they power your body's sodium-potassium pump - Focus on lifestyle: stress reduction, exercise Higher BP in older adults often means longer life—don't let them scare you into over-medication!

Overprotected kids become unprepared adults. Dawn Staley nailed it.🔥 You can’t shelter your child from every hard moment and then expect them to handle adversity when it counts. Hard is the lesson. Watch. Share. Bookmark.

Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say “Send me” wherever we have a chance to make an impact. How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.

Rev. Jesse Jackson understood the immense promise of America and his role in shaping its destiny. With courage, tenacity and an audacious spirit, he widened our capacity for imagining true unity and deepened our commitment to justice for all. I was one of the lucky beneficiaries of a vision he never forsook. God bless him and the Jackson family.

A Soldier's Whisper

I locked the classroom door and turned to twenty five high school seniors, the Class of 2026. They were supposed to be the digital generation, confident and plugged in. Instead, staring back at me under the glow of hidden phones, they just looked tired. I asked them to turn their phones off. Not silent. Off. On my desk sat an old olive green military rucksack that belonged to my father. For weeks they ignored it, assuming it was just junk. They didn’t know it was the heaviest thing in the building. I dragged it to the center of the room. Thud. I told them we weren’t doing the Constitution that day. I handed out blank index cards with three rules. No names. Total honesty. Write down the heaviest thing you are carrying. At first, no one moved. Then Sarah, straight A student, perfect everything, started writing. Then Marcus, the football captain, hunched over his card and wrote just three words. One by one, they folded their cards and dropped them into the bag. I zipped it shut and told them this bag was who they really were. Then I began to read. A father pretending to go to work after losing his job. A student carrying Narcan for their mom. A kid mapping exits everywhere. A teen trapped between parents screaming about politics. A girl with thousands of followers crying alone at night. Then the last card. I don’t want to be here anymore. I’m just waiting for a sign to stay. Marcus was crying openly. Sarah was holding the hand of a boy who usually sat alone. The cliques were gone. They were just kids carrying too much. I told them the bag would stay in the room so they wouldn’t have to carry it alone anymore. When the bell rang, no one rushed out. Every student stopped and touched the rucksack on the way out. I see you. That night, a parent emailed me. Their son hugged them for the first time in years and asked for help. Everyone you pass is carrying something you can’t see. Be kind. Be curious. Ask the people you love what they’re carrying. You might save a life.
