@THPauthor I would like to make you aware of this little gem of an RTS game. It's called Battle at Procyon, and it came out in 2002. It's the only expansion of the Treasure Planet universe outside the movie and is considered canon to the movie. Comparable games would be Star Wars: Empire at War, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, and was even made by the same team that made Homeworld. Controls are easy to learn, so it should be easy for new players of the Space RTS genre to get into, while still being a nice challenge game for veterans of the subgenre to enjoy. If you like games like Empire at War, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, Homeworld, etc, you'll enjoy this. There is also a really great mod called "Etherium Forces" on ModDB that adds several dozen maps and units to the game from the dinkiest fishing boats to massive dreadnoughts that can destroy small fleets. It's only $10 on Steam
