Very sad to hear Bill Riley has passed away. He was the third Black player in the NHL; he worked hard to make hockey a better sport. He mentored so many and was generous with his time and expertise. He even shared his love of gardening with me. My thoughts are with his family

The women's category of Olympic sports will be limited to biological females from 2028, says the International Olympic Committee. Eligibility will be determined by a "once in a lifetime" sex test, which would prevent transgender women and those with differences in sexual development (DSD) from competing. It will take effect from the Los Angeles Olympics. IOC president Kirsty Coventry said the policy was "led by medical experts".
