@orgvue1 @LightcastData Interesting that there isn't a stand alone SWP function but rather embedded capability plus beg / borrow / steal support as needed. I think this lean approach is where a lot of companies will be at present.

The budget / finance view of structured cost centres and pyramids BUT we want work done cross function and pan silo. It should be fluid and dynamic. This means get super tight with finance to help them understand how work gets done rather than how headcount is accounted.

First barrier for swp is lack of strategic vision, short term operational thinking, also lack of expertise in HR and appropriate tooling with ease of access. Be constant, persistent, continue pitching at senior level around investing in systems / processes / tools

Stop rushing to solutions, really think about stickiness of value streams. Deal with today's pain points to demonstrate value in order to [build the credibility and trust] and be able to focus on the future.
