An idea for a product or service is merely the beginning stage of planning. In contrast, a business is an entity that delivers products or services on a recurring basis. However, there is more to the story. A business without a system for client retention will always be trapped in a cycle of constant marketing. Currently, we sit in the middle: many of our customers move on after about a quarter of their time spent with us. This insight provides a valuable roadmap for our strategy. Instead of assuming a lengthy service plan, we must keep it simple and focus intensely on meeting customer needs within that initial window of engagement. On this #UHCDay2025, I am using my UHC Champion role to support the people of Afghanistan in need on the world stage. 🩺 The problems: • The Taliban government in Afghanistan has banned public university education for females. • Water systems are drying up across the country. • Food insecurity must be addressed urgently. • Day by day, the humanitarian situation is worsening: a few months ago, an earthquake struck my home province of Nangarhar, and it took more than 48 hours for a response to reach affected people. ⌛ • The closure of international organizations has created a need for Afghan civil groups to take ownership of health service needs. Being Organized: Building Success Through Focus and Planning Every day, I stay motivated by using my spreadsheet to keep track of my meetings and tasks, which helps me stay organized. I see some days are busy, while others have just a few things to do, and that makes me feel hopeful about getting better at staying organized.
