@Talothar @atrocityTCG You're signalling a possible new chain after resolution, forcing your opponent to either try and address it early in the current chain at the risk of the move being wasted on nothing, or respond in that next chain and risk being too late to save their cards.

2 basic concepts i learned the average Yu-Gi-Oh player doesn't fucking grasp: •not "going battle" but "end of main" You don't state where you're going •claiming you have "no response" but "think on res" to hold prio after their triggers, if any Dumfounded every opponent I had

@Talothar It's telling your opponent ahead of time that you will retain priority at the next opportunity priority will get passed to you after their effect resolves This statement alone can change the outcome of a game

@El_capybarabe @Duel_Daddy OOOOOOH YES, I didn't even think of that - that's amazing. That works especially well re: the new field spell (the phase-out effect for Toon Ultimate Dragon is less useful for allowing you to circumvent toon summoning sickness because it only activates when your opponent attacks)

@Talothar @Duel_Daddy When the field spell or Ultimate dragon remove the toon monsters briefly and bring them back, they essentially forget that they got summoned this turn. And thus, you bypass the summoning sickness and allow them to attack.

I can’t stop giggling at this. This can’t be real.

@Duel_Daddy Honestly…the card is great for what the deck wants to achieve. Easy to summon Adds stuff from GY Gives the deck the ability to otk Allows the Toons to attack by removing summoning sickness People just need to understand the card in the context of how Toon wants to work 🤷

Lately been itching for a non-linear Pokemon game with a map that’s not you-centric. Gym leaders all w/ lvl 50+ Pokemon, and wild encounters leveled based on geography rather than how far into the game you are. Probably awful in practice but I can’t be the only one.

@OOC_Unova The vibe was very different in B/W compared to Platinum/HGSS. In some ways it felt like a step backwards (no following Pokemon, barely any post-game, etc.).

@CentroLeaks Ohhh, reminds me of the Palkia, Dialga and Arceus shaped clouds in Legends Arceus. That was such a neat little detail that was so easily missed....glad it's becoming an actual feature now
