@mariettarenewed @cwithmymind Men are more likely to be falsely accused of rape. So they tend to care about that more as it’s something that can affect them directly. Same as women tend to care about rape more as they’re more likely to be victims. It’s just people looking out for themselves first.

When I actively used to go to court, I used to be so annoyed.
The first rape case I witnessed in court was a girl who got raped by a bikeman. I can’t remember the details, but it was raining heavily so they decided to take shelter somewhere and he raped her.

i really need people to, just for one day, leave their houses and randomly enter a criminal court. especially the sexual offences division. go there for a month and sit and listen, and tell me if you won't come out with anger in your veins.
