1776 is about three hours long and consists mostly of old guys singing at each other about congressional procedure, but it also has a subplot where Thomas Jefferson is too horny to write the Declaration of Independence. Awesome boring!

I grew up obsessed with old school educational Epcot. I wore out the VHS tape of 1776, the film adaptation of the Broadway musical. All kids should grow up with a healthy diet of awesome boring stuff. It’s healthy!

@spacewretch It's worse than that. He's played by the same actor who played Dr. Crusher's candle ghost! I get that the writers didn't want to go down the Kira/Odo route, but they did seem to find her the biggest wet rags imaginable as love interests.

@spacewretch Lane's story still haunts me to some degree because it ends up so hopeful there for a while and then kind of becomes a tragedy.
