Fable just crossed 5,000 downloads on the app stores, and I’ve somehow managed to keep an average rating above 4.5⭐️ I’ve been iterating on this product since December 2023, and only now does it feel like it’s gaining noticeable traction. It’s been nearly two years of trial, error, and plenty of moments where I almost pulled the plug on it... I’m sure many here can relate. Now, seeing xAI and Google enter this space with Grok Imagine and Gemini Story Book is both a little worrying but also very validating. It confirms this space has real value. It’s easy to get discouraged seeing others hit massive growth overnight while your product barely moves the needle. But sometimes, it just takes time to find product-market fit. My focus was to simply build something genuinely great, not flashy, just solid. Still a long way to go, but we’re making progress every day.
