Prednisone (steroid) taper has been explored & proven to be effective in patients who present with their first #MOGAD attack. Should a steroid taper be explored in those who have relapsing #MOGAD to prove its efficacy?

MOGAD pt who is currently experiencing seizures, loss of vision, severe headaches, parathesia and limb weakness. Her MOGab test was taken and came back at 1:1000. However, Dr refuses to treat until she has an MRI in February to confirm relapse (earliest date) Thoughts on this?
