@TheRedDebate I think you are seeing a worse mood because of social media. If Twitter was on the scale it is now during Hodgsonโs reign it would be worse. However, todayโs โfanโ wants sackings if a team loses one game. No realism, no patience, no real support.

@LukeRobboLFC78 Yeah, without doubt things appeared more bleak on the bigger sense. The point was more around the expectation on this group of players & manager, off the back of winning the league. I donโt know; things just feel pretty bleak

Social media definitely amplifies the noise. Having been to all the home games during both eras, I donโt think itโs just online though. Just my personal take.

@TheRedDebate I think Twitter started 3 or 4 years before he got sacked many fans weren't on social media then and i think that made it a bit less toxic.
