I have been thinking about this for a while, ever since I saw the post from @spiritofshankly. Why do Liverpool fans have to constantly fight for the right to see their heroes play the beautiful game? Watching this team has always been a working class pastime in Liverpool, and its these games that many people live and die for. Its a game that many save all year round to buy a season ticket for so that they can have time to escape that normal slog of our working week and be around like minded people all with one focus, one goal, the win. Its a game that of a weekend we go and play with our friends and risk broken bones to win, if you have children you might spend time in cold fields encouraging our kids to push on and play their little hearts out or stand on the sidelines planning your next tactical change. These things are alien to businessmen that purchase our clubs with pound signs in their eyes, they are focussed on making money from the average Joe in anyway they can. They appease us sometimes but when the bottom line is looming low they strike at the very heart of our sport, the fans. For a long time we have accepted it as the prices go up everywhere, food, petrol and it feels like everything else. But what do you do when the thing you do to escape these money worries is taken out of your price range? As @spiritofshankly has said, you stand. You show the owners what this team means to you, for when they go you will still be here supporting your team. You are the people making this team financially secure, you stop buying shirts, you stop purchasing tickets and you stop buying anything from the stadium. But you never stop loving this team. That is why when the owners do these things it hits hard, it makes us feel hurt. I am a supporter that over the years has been called plastic, I am not from Liverpool but I have family links. But one thing I am, is loyal. I understand where the local fans are coming from, I understand how much it means to them. I sit at home singing along and getting excited over every shot, worried over every shot against us. The one thing I will do from my armchair is support the supporters in any way I can. Please support them and do what you can to show these businessmen (Not supporters) that the heart of this club is ours, and its not something you can buy. The Red Head LFC #LFC #LiverpoolFC #YNWA

#MUNLIV #LFC #LiverpoolFC #YNWA Full Time: A very disappointing outing from the reds, moments of class but not long lasting. The defence as all season was rocky, a change of manager is desperately needed to avoid a repeat next season. Its been said many times, riding on the coat tails of Klopp last season doesn't make you a good manager. Dealing with the bad performances all teams go through and coming out the other end does. Klopp came into an average team and built class, Slot came into a decent team about to enter transition and after a freak season he decimated the team, the feeling and the hearts of the fans. @LFC please listen to the fans and make the changes needed to rebuild this once great team.

#LFC #LiverpoolFC #MUNLIV HALF TIME: Absolutely lifeless display by @LFC, no passion or determination to beat our rivals. The tactics and lineup looks built to avoid defeat rather than push forward and win the game. This is another poor performance that lands at both the players feet but mainly the manager. When will the owners see that enough is enough, the team don't believe in the tactics nor the manager. I don't believe in players having the power but when he makes questionable tactical choices then the players loose faith and performances drop. It's plain to see.

WTAF is going on. This is abysmal, no desire to win this considering who the opponent is. This can't carry on. Surely Slot needs to go now, Gakpo up front has been no threat all season yet he continues to play him in that position. #LFC #LiverpoolFC #YNWA #SLOTOUT #MUNLIV

Liverpool have identified Borussia Dortmund left-back Daniel Svensson as 'one of their top targets' to bolster their defensive options over the summer, with Arsenal and Leeds also understood to be monitoring the 24-year-old 🇸🇪 #LFC [@Ekremkonur]

@Jjsharma07 @Carra23 Possible, but i do think the tactics are strange to the team. They are used to a more energetic reactive style and Slot is more controlled. I do agree that if we have a DM and CB and some other rotation players we may have reacted better to the change.

@TheRedHeadLFC @Carra23 Fair enough! Call me crazy but I think you guys would’ve been ok if you’d have signed a defensive midfielder and Guehi last summer

I'm just basing it on the last 2 year with Slot, he came in and pushed the team on with the tactics they were experienced at, then when putting in his own style it went badly. If I was in charge of your team I would show faith with a 1 year deal with an option to give him time to implement his style and see how it pans out. Better safe than sorry!

@TheRedHeadLFC @Carra23 Get what you’re saying but surely that means speculation about who the manager will be will ramp up from around next March through to the end of the season again? I don’t think anyone expects him to win the league, so maybe it’s about putting pieces in place for the next guy
