Sure the referees call more contact but that’s more because offensive players have gotten much more difficult to guard without fouling than because the league is “softer” (even if it is a little bit softer)

@MicahhParsons11 Nowadays they can't do what he did, so the league relaxes on Traveling and Double Dribbling to try to mimic the greatness. He did all of that while following the rules.
