Just landed: decision from @UKSupremeCourt handed down today in the case of Mr Afriyie v City of London #Police concerning the use of #Taser. Permission to appeal against Mr Afriyie’s successful outcome before the Court of Appeal has been REFUSED !!

Remember Edwin Afriyie? He was the youth worker who was #Tasered by a City of London Police officer. Edwin won his civil claim but the police appealed to the Supreme Court. They failed in their application and must now compensate Mr Afriyie. Read why here: bit.ly/4hipuEI
