@helenzille This time I agree with you. When I was young I use to see storm water drainage being cleaned after every 6month but now dololo. What happened to service delivery? There are lots of floods nowadays. Why? Nobody knows or cares. Pot holes every street. Trucks are busy... 🤣 🤣

Just look at the kind of stuff that people dispose of in drains and then wonder why there is damage to pipes, blockages and spillages. We must learn to care for our infrastructure.

🟥 BELHAR | This building rubble wasn’t flushed down a toilet. Across the city we battle rubble and other waste blocking our drains, causing sewage overflws and damaging our pumps leading to prolonged periods of sewage overflows. STOP THIS. We need to be better. Respect our pipes
