Someone sent me these words today: ‘Don’t be a prisoner within your Walls. Make room for doubts. Gave them some framed colour. Remember that you can always choose which paintings to hang in your life.’ There is an undeniable truth to that… 🎨 Edward B.Gordon

… For a long moment, she wasn't a woman with a name or a schedule but simply a pulse, steady and rhythmic, beating in time with the quiet morning. She didn't rush to open her eyes. Instead, she let her awareness expand slowly, like a drop of ink blooming in clear water. …

@Protect_Wldlife With all due respect to your work, I strongly recommend including documentary evidence of the decisions made regarding any matter in question. This type of news needs to be a genuine indication of change, not just a pin on the map.

Well done Santorini…. BUT not use and abusing the Donkeys at all would be even better. Santorini has introduced a rule banning tourists weighing over 220 pounds (100 kg) from riding donkeys, a move aimed at protecting the animals from excessive strain. For years, donkeys have been used to carry visitors up the steep paths between the island’s old port and the town above. Animal welfare groups have long raised concerns about the workload placed on these animals, especially during the busy tourist season. Local authorities say the new rule is designed to reduce injuries and improve conditions for the donkeys. The guideline focuses on limiting the weight they carry and encouraging more responsible tourism practices. Tourists, #DontBuyATicket 🎟️ 🚫!

Well done France 🇫🇷. France has taken a major step for Dolphins and Orcas. In 2021, the country passed a new animal welfare law that will end the use of these intelligent marine mammals in entertainment. The law bans breeding, buying, selling, and transferring Dolphins and Orcas for shows in marine parks. It also set a deadline to shut down Dolphin and Orca performances by 2026. For decades, Dolphins and Orcas were kept in tanks and forced to perform tricks for crowds. Many animal advocates say these animals suffer in captivity. They are highly social and travel long distances in the wild. Small concrete pools can never match the ocean they belong to. France is now moving away from that system. Marine parks will no longer be allowed to keep breeding dolphins or bring in new ones. As the law moves toward the 2026 deadline, Dolphin shows will disappear across the country. Animal protection groups have called this a big step forward. They hope more countries will follow and move away from using marine mammals for entertainment. The conversation around dolphin captivity is changing. More people are asking if these animals should ever be kept in tanks at all. France has decided the answer is NO! Cetaceans in captivity: the laws currently in force already ban the transfer of cetaceans for commercial purposes, both within France and abroad. - Actions for Dolphins... We only have until April 1 to speak out against seabed mining in Alaska waters! 📢 The immense risk of long-term damage to Alaskan marine ecosystems is too high and far outweighs any questionable, prospective benefits. ⚠️ ADD YOUR NAME ➡️ bit.ly/4b8Hu39

Decisions made today could alter the deep-sea forever. This month, the @ISBAHQ must consider the perils of seabed mining. The risk to our ocean and planetary health is too great to rush into the unknown. #ISA31 pewtrsts.org/4d7qbkw 📸Drewtre/Flickr Creative Commons
