This group of boys (plus a couple of throwers) suck with me through a cancelled season and a pandemic, and were rewarded with 2 League Championships, 2 District Championships, lots of state medals, and 2 Top-10 Team State Finishes in 3 seasons. Hall of Fame in my book.

@larrypeterson He was a good umpire. He did a lot of games when we played Murray. I really enjoyed visiting with him.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Murray legend Jerry Brown. Before he got into education and basketball coaching he was a newspaper reporter. He "got it" when we met after games. Later he helped me get started coaching and I still have his Murray Mustangs booklet. Great man!
