The White House went from rainbow flags and drugs to ballrooms and UFC. The nation is healing.

I've been so impressed with codex and its usage. Minimax 3 works but codex just seems to get things right so much faster. Thinking of canceling my token plan subscription and upgrading to the next tier of codex

SOMEONE VIBE CODED A VIDEO STREAM THAT IS SECRETLY 100% TEXT SO IT CANT BE BLOCKED it plays 360p video at 30fps, but theres no actual video on the page. every frame is just colored text characters being repainted on a canvas to the browser its not media at all, its javascript updating some text its called asciline, and here's the trick: > the server decodes the real video and streams it as binary packed text over websockets > the browser paints thousands of colored block characters fast enough to look like 360p > ad blockers and autoplay blockers cant catch it because theres no video element to catch > it streams in kilobytes since its just strings, so it runs on trash internet since the video is literally text, you can apply css glows to it, let people copy paste a moving frame, or feed it straight to a local llm however, an unblockable stream is also an unblockable ad as well

Wait. Google is paying SpaceX $920 million per month for GPUs? Google. The company that builds its own TPUs. That runs one of the largest cloud infrastructures on earth. Is renting 110,000 Nvidia GPUs from a rocket company. I'm honestly not sure what to make of this. Either Google's AI compute needs have gotten so massive that even they can't build fast enough. Or SpaceX has built something in AI infrastructure that nobody was paying attention to. Or both. $920M a month. $30B over the contract. Whatever is happening behind the scenes at these companies is moving way faster than what we see publicly.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

SpaceX has just announced that they have entered into a $920 million per month agreement with Google to provide compute capacity, according to a new filing. "On June 5, 2026, we entered into a Cloud Service Agreement with Google with respect to access to compute capacity. The customer has agreed to pay us $920 million per month from October 2026 through June 2029, with capacity ramping up through September at a reduced fee. The compute capacity provided includes approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, memory, and other related components. After December 31, 2026, the agreement may be terminated by either party upon 90 days' notice. The customer will retain ownership of, and intellectual property rights in, its content, Al models, and related data."

the more i use my dgx spark the more i think it's one of the most undervalued machines on the market right now. and i keep finding new things to throw at it that have no business working on something this small. but every time i post about it the same question comes back, what about the amd strix halo. and here's what actually bugs me, i can't answer it, because i've never run one myself, or even seen anyone around me run one. tons of people name it as the competitor, almost nobody posts real numbers. no tok/s, no model loads, no thermals, nothing. just the name. so i'm asking straight up. if you've got a strix halo or a ryzen ai max box, drop your real numbers. what models, what speeds, what breaks. is it actually competing with the spark, or is it the machine everyone recommends and nobody runs. i'd benchmark it myself the second i could, until then i'm genuinely curious what you're all seeing.

Nemotron 3 Ultra is fast and genuinely good Compared it with 3 frontier models: DeepSeek V4, MiniMax M3, and Qwen 3.7 Max on 2 prompts very impressive results

Starlink V3 satellites have >10X bandwidth of V2 and there’ll be >10X launched, which means >100X more bandwidth. Also, altitude will be 350km vs 550km, so min latency can be cut in half. Light travels 300km/ms in space, so physics round trip min latency drops to <5ms.

@TonyDaDesigner @Burntouttired @NVIDIAGeForce 🤣 Didn’t say ddr4 wouldn’t play any games, I said it was a dead platform which is true. There going to be no new development on the ddr4 platform, therefore it is dead. My current desktop pc is still on ddr4 and it works just fine. Gpu prices are still high. Keep coping.

Sadly, MMOs aren't really a thing anymore. But it was an amazing experience back in the day. Asheron's Call was my first (hated EverQuest). But Star Wars Galaxies was my favorite one. Hard to explain if you weren't there, but it was a magical time to be a gamer.

There will never be a game as good as vanilla & Burning Crusade World of Warcraft than at its peak. You log in at 11pm to raid - the best community (mostly racist people in ventrilo) and smash buttons all night. Today when you log in, you log right off. It isn't the same, but, maybe we're not the same either.
