UTEP standout LB Tyrice Knight and the Seattle Seahawks are headed to the Super Bowl. Knight contributed in the win over the LA Rams with 4 tackles, including a key stop on a run late in the game. The former Miner will become the first UTEP alum since Brian Young (‘02, Rams) to play in a Super Bowl #MinerTalk @Tyricek_

There has been coaches on Super Bowl staffs, but Knight could be the first player on a SB team since Lee Mayes with the Steelers in 2006.
