Buff removes functionality for all non-chinese users? Prepare for yapping. As I'm sure most people have seen, it looks as if Buff is removing all functionality if you have not bound an AliPay account as of today. What does this mean? Current listings seem fine, and I assume you will still get balance for those, but currently you cannot list new items without binding an AliPay account which would handle the payment. This effectively means that Buff balance is slowly being discontinued as it will slowly be eaten up by fees. Implications? This basically means that you can only use Buff if you have an AliPay account bound and western users will slowly be made unable to use the site. It appears that @buff163, the largest volume CS2 marketplace, is no longer is allowing non Chinese ID verified users to sell items on their platform. If this change stays, many western markets will now experience a dramatic increase in volume.
