It’s spring break here. It’s March. I’m in Alabama. I’m at work. It’s snowing. Where is the “spring”?

I have two cell phones. One for work and one personal. Both are Verizon services. My work phone(iPhone 14) has service. My personal phone(iPhone 17 pro) does not. Even when they are right next to each other. Technology is great but it sure can be odd at times.

@Torias_Secret_ If I recall, the transfer had to be done while on active duty and after 14(I think?) years of service. One of those loopholes the government loves.

Mini rant? I should blame my own ignorance for this but for years now I was under the impression I could eventually give our child my post 9/11 G.I bill. Because that’s always what I had been told (when I was active duty.) Medically retired now and been out for 4 years. I was going to give it to my spouse instead so he could further his flight training on the side because it’s something he’s passionate about and loves doing. But come to find out you can only transfer your benefits if you’re active duty. 😭 I don’t want it to go to waste so I’m considering going to school myself but I had no interest prior and have no idea what I would even be interested in studying. If I’m going to use it I would like to BEFORE we have kids for obvious reasons but damn I’m so bummed.
