@Jack_ng01 He isn't dismissing conferences; he is calling out the absence of results. If the SWDC is still convening without visible impact, then something is clearly off. Onyia on the other hand, has delivered tangible solutions, especially in education, even before hosting conferences.

Alex what you have just proposed is a great idea and I think this is a top priority for every single person in the region but have you thought about the funding and where such money will come from considering the realities of today? I only have with last state of "we don't need conferences and photo ops"! I mean you of all people cannot be making such statement considering that you have hosted 2 conferences in the region in the last 24months (which means you understand the importance of bringing relevant stakeholders in the room to have meaningful conversations) I genuinely believe we can all criticise and applaud Govt when necessary. I didn't think there was any need for that Jab. We can plan the railway (which I believe the commission is already working on) while hosting meaningful conversations like the last #SEV2050 that took place a few months ago
Alex Onyia@winexviv

If the South East Development Commission can achieve a reliable railway system that can connect the entire South East region for safe movement of goods and people, that will be an outstanding achievement. I should be able to travel safely from Enugu to Aba, Abakaliki, Awka, Owerri at night safely via train without the fear of ndi nto. People should be able to transport goods safely via trains. If this is done, it will boost the economy of the region at a scale never have seen before. We don't need more conferences or photo ops.

@czarify Same here. If the one year rent is bigger than my one month salary, I'm not staying

Someone told me today they were saving up for rent. 👀 I can’t relate… if my monthly salary can’t comfortably cover it, I’m not even considering that place 🙂‍↔️

Nigerian engineers applying for tech jobs in Canada, I need to have an honest conversation with you. I've been on both sides of this. Applying as an immigrant engineer AND reviewing candidates in Canadian companies. Here are the mistakes I see Nigerians make repeatedly. 1/10

@ManLikeIcey The reality is simple: Peter Obi or nothing. ADC should better do the needful. It’s either Peter Obi or a gradual political oblivion. Ask ex PDP guys. Facts are very stubborn

@ManLikeIcey If ex PDD boys don’t support Obi after he clinches ADC’s ticket then Tinubu will return as President in 2027. Facts are very stubborn

@ManLikeIcey In conclusion, it is far too late for Atiku Abubakar to attempt the dollarization of the primary. The party is not naive; it understands that Peter Obi is its most credible electoral asset, and any deviation from that is nothing short of a humiliating defeat to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In Conclusion: It’s too late for Peter Obi to leave ADC. Atiku will emerge as ADC’s Presidential ticket. Peter Obi will accept VP position. He knows in his heart that there’s no way he can beat Atiku in a primary election before joining ADC.
