@NealGardner_ The reason for the Madrid’s dropoff these past few years was the exit of Kroos and Modric in midfield especially Kroos. Installing Rodri in the midfield offers them close to the same influence Kroos provided in midfield. They’ll most likely win another CL before Barça if he moves

I think it’s pretty obvious where he goes next, lol.
While I do think he’d be a big update to their midfield, a soon-to-be 30 YO Rodri with a leanthy injury history doesn’t instill the same panic in me that it would’ve a few seasons prior.

While I think his performances have justified him playing more minutes, saying this publicly just isn’t the right way, and I’m pretty sure Flick won’t appreciate it.
