Our first outreach event of the summer! We were delighted to partner with @suttontrust to introduce students to bat science at @univofstandrews! Most of the lab made it out to talk about their realm of biology and connect with students through short activity stations!

@bat1kgenomes @Sonja_Vernes The recording studio is being re-designed by our behavioural team (@SashaNewar and Sixue Li) to record bat vocalizations - it was originally built by @EllaLatt! In the meantime - we have a rubber bat and a speaker playing social calls for the kids to listen to!
