It seems both Russia and China have sent missiles to Iran.
Possibly including Satan 2 missiles from Russia.

@home838 No. We were given free kicks for high tackles where our player ducked.
English

@VeryNeilP All the free kicks paid were there? Umpires can only pay free kicks that they see, port power players need to go to school and learn the AFL rules they must be the dumbest players in the AFL giving away free kicks because they are not disciplined enough, don’t blame umpires.
English

Thing 1.
Can StKilda have these umpires every week?
Thing 2. First at the ball with head over the ball should get more frees.
Thing 3. The AFL allowed Geelong to duck for a decade. I hate seeing my Saints do it. Kids will copy and get badly injured.

Free kicks 23-13 in St Kilda's favour. Inside 50s are 34-54 against them. Silvagni's first St Kilda goal from a 50m penalty puts them 15 points up

@XanderMcGuire7 Yet silence around Collard. Who he hadn’t even spoken with.

The AFL Players’ Association has issued the following statement attributed to AFLPA CEO, James Gallagher:
“We are deeply disappointed by last night’s Tribunal outcome for Port Adelaide’s Zak Butters.
“A misunderstanding about what was said on field should have been resolved in the aftermath of the match, not referred to the Tribunal.
“The Tribunal determining not to accept all of the evidence consistent with Zak’s version of events, including testimony of Zak’s teammate Ollie Wines, nor have sufficient doubt when upholding a charge is deeply concerning.
“In the off-season, we made it clear to the AFL that we would closely monitor the Tribunal’s decisions during 2026 given concerns raised by players in recent seasons. It is important that all participants in the game, but most importantly the players, have confidence in the disciplinary system to which they’re subjected.
“We’ve offered our full support to Zak and Port Adelaide in exploring their options to appeal.”

@drhossamsamy65 I’ve sat near him having a coffee at Spout in Rippon Lea. He badly needed a shower.

@mtmalinen Russia, China & Iran already are. Spain has already. Italy making noises.

@RalphyHeraldSun Through the lense of a Saints supporter these ‘he said, she said’ arguments bear some parallels.
It appears that Butters has been lightly penalised for questioning an umpires integrity though.
English

Port Adelaide will consider the findings when they lob tomorrow morning then strongly consider an appeal on the grounds no tribunal could reasonably have come to this verdict. Butters is angry and if they did appeal he would be removed from the process so he could concentrate on the Hawthorn game. The club could defend his honour in the background. We will break it down coming up on Midweek Tackle on @FOXFOOTY

@MaxRock222 @Thomo_Grant Yes but no. One compromised umpire can more influence a result more than one player if a gang connected dealer wanted to bet on a football match.
But the umpire I’m aware of has retired.
English

No way…….theres enough of a hump under the carpet without sweeping more stuff there. If they test they get caught, if they get caught AFL has to suppress and cover up. After all that infamous drug net with the whopping big hole in it only caught 1 AFL player in decades!
VeryNeilPrentice 🧷@VeryNeilP
@Thomo_Grant Off topic. Are umpires drug tested for recreational drugs?

@desb85 If if if & if Collard is guilty, then 9 weeks is fair because it’s his second offence.
If Butters is guilty of questioning an umpire’s integrity then $1500 is being beaten with a feather.
