I’m building VoxAgent-AI.com - AI agents designed to: - explore complex topics - generate structured in-depth research reports - turn hours of work into minutes This account documents what works, what fails, and why. if you care about applied AI agents → follow

The trade-off is real: RLMs shift complexity from the model to the system layer — planning, recursion control, state management, error propagation. however this represents still an emerging research direction. I found it very interesting and relevant though your thoughts?

Recursive Language Models seem extremely interesting ... (at aspirational) - RLMs decouple computational cost from input length, making extensive document analysis financially viable - By avoiding context compression, RLMs maintain high performance on complex tasks across long inputs - RLMs seem to enable smaller, more accessible models to tackle tasks previously reserved for large systems - RLMs intelligently adjust recursion depth based on task complexity, optimizing resource use - RLMs seem to act as controllers, delegating tasks to smaller, fine-tuned models for improved accuracy and efficiency

The core lesson: Research systems don’t fail because AI is weak, they fail because workflow design is sloppy! Constraints, sequencing and review matter more than raw intelligence!

The biggest bottleneck wasn’t LLM or tools It was control flow: – when agents are allowed to act – when they must stop – when uncertainty must be preserved

Building AI research Agents isn’t actually hard, but making them reliable at scale is Here are the biggest things that broke when I scaled VoxAgent’s research pipeline ... and what I learned 👇
