Acknowledge on premise meetings and video conferencing are different. Communication is key because so much none verbal communication gets lost. Active listening, precise communication (we use the pyramid principle) and paraphrasing are useful means to make video calls productive.

With our “hands on” mentality, meetings usually are as productive as they can be, which also means, not wasting any time on odds and ends. With productive meetings like these everybody has more time for other things.

During meetings like our weekly Standup on Monday afternoon, we update each other on our successes, learnings, milestones reached, but also about changes that will happen in the near future, and where our main focus will lie over the coming week.

The end of the week is just around the corner, which means: It is time for a new #FollowUsFriday ! Today, we want to use this opportunity to give you some insights on our Team Meetings here at Walbing.

Of course we also make use of theme-based meetings, where we discuss new projects, our strategy, next steps that have to be taken in order to reach our goals, and many more.

Meetings like these are also very helpful to catch up with everybody, since our employees are currently free to decide, whether they want to work out of their home office or come into work.

We love to see our employees taking advantage of our office’s great location right at Hamburgs waterfront while eating one of the city's most famous pastries, the so called “Franzbrötchen”
