@WrassleSwitch there is one case of shadown ban which is kinda subjective, we don't really know how it works in that case its possible that your mentions don't work as well as you think they should, but in general mentions should show up as notif always

“Algorithm this” “Algorithm that” It’s changing every 3 days at this point. Honestly I don’t know or care anymore. Over the last 18 months my posting strategy has been the exact same and it works. Some months preform better, and some preform worse. But with consistency you can’t lose. I’m currently posting 20x a day, engaging with 50-100 new accounts and reply to most people on my posts, simple. And anything extra engaging is just for fun. And I don’t plan to stop posting this way. - People are saying to post less and comment more. And on the other I’m hearing post more and comment less. What I do know is when I post less, my business gets cut in half. Through posting more I’ve tripped my daily email sign ups. Through posting more I’ve generated more warm leads either through email or DMs. Through posting more I’ve blown up my brands engagement, thus more conversions. Here’s what I can confidently say: Posting more quality will always better you. Why? Because no algo can determine what is good or bad content. It only considers how many and who interacts with certain content. Which is why one liners do so well. (I’m not saying I don’t do them). —- I guarantee this exact post will get less than 100 likes to prove my point, if not? Great I was wrong! But at least I’ll have people reading. And that’s why I’m on X and love the community :)

your fandom experience actually improves when you spend less time on twitter and more time talking to actual people. you realize how much these spaces warp your perception of reality because like 90% of the daily discussions on here are complete non-issues to most normal people

Rule of thumb: Fix hardware (sleep, exercise, diet) before software (psychology). 95% of my software problems seem to magically get fixed when I take care of my hardware. And the remaining 5% is easier to debug once I've fixed my hardware. Never try anything more complex without first turning the computer off and on.
