#SendHelp is so darkly twisted but in the best way possible. Sam Raimi delivers a wild and original horror film that’s filled with gnarly imagery and a dark sense of humor. McAdams and O’Brien are fantastic in the film. My audience was eating this film up from start to finish.

Jared Leto in 2016’s Suicide Squad comes to mind. He wins an Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club, he does the movie and it seems like he hasn’t had a critical financial hit since.

@CMWaters789 I feel like remake happened for a combination of two things: 1. Disney is desperate wants money. 2. The Rock wants to be the only one to play Maui and wants it to happen before he gets too old

Part of the problem with these remakes is that a lot of them aren’t fully thought out at all. They just threw a cheap wig on the Rock knowing it would make a billion dollars regardless.

Makes you smile where it wants to, wince where it needs to. Colman is your earliest supporting actor candidate. Some pacing woes, but strong stuff all around. Can’t wait to see this one with a crowd.
