I created something like this years ago, it’s a chicken and the egg problem and distribution is an issue, the marketing at that time wasn’t solid.
The real hurdle isn't the app; it's the trust.
Landlords in Nigeria often prefer agents because they act as “vettors” and debt collectors.
To kill the agent model, you don't just need an app; you need a way to guarantee the landlord gets paid and the tenant isn't getting scammed
Also, many landlords are older and won't touch an app; they’ve used the same agent for 20 years and breaking that habit is a bit of more challenging than trying to sell them a wheelchair on Sunday morning

Why do people still use Vercel? You can just buy a $5 VPS on Hetzner and run everything yourself. More control. Lower cost. More responsibility 🤔
