This month’s liqa’a shahri features a screening of October Means Olive and Buffer Zone by Farrah Berrou, followed by a discussion with visual artist Rayyane Tabet. October Means Olives 2023, 5’ Buffer Zone 2025, 18’ Free entrance. First come first seated.

The preservation team at AIF gave a presentation about the preservation methods used at the foundation, and afterwards the digitisation team gave a quick demonstration of the digitisation process. See you at the upcoming workshops!

We were welcomed by the Saeid and Saada Fakhry Foundation, and joined by Amani Rammal the founder of Withaqeyya. Mrs. Amani Rammal focused on the synergy between oral history and photographic archives and highlighted on the importance of family archives.
