AppCode 2023.1 has just been released with fixes for Xcode 14.3 compatibility and lots more. We no longer sell new subscriptions or renew existing ones. Perpetual fallbacks for v2022.3 were automatically upgraded to v2023.1. 👉 jb.gg/appcode_231

@bealex @grantism @jetbrains Alex, sorry for that. There was some temporary issue on our side for All Product Pack holders. Those qualified for AppCode fallback on the date of sunsetting (Dec 14, 2022) will have it forever. So you can keep using the latest version even without an active subscription now.

@appcode Hi, just got message that my AppCode license expired. Updated All products license (I need it anyway for the IDEA) but AppCode still can't be activated. What can I do to continue using it?

Hello @appcode ! I would like to use AppCode, but there is only the demo version. I'm willing to pay for it, but I saw that the subscription for AppCode has stopped :( Is there any way to pay for it or having it for free please ?

@EKazaev @jetbrains It's not a question of price. So we don't consider this as an option for now.

@appcode 😭I have used JetBrains' products almost every day for 18 years. Having the same shortcuts and refactorings no matter if I worked in Java, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Obj-C, or Swift has been a life-saver. Please consider supporting Swift in some way in another product 🙏

@IsleOfTheKakapo We don’t have any specific plans about Swift and/or Objective-C in Fleet right now.

@appcode Will the upcoming JetBrains Fleet work as a replacement to some degree (at least working with Swift, Objective-C files and supporting Xcode project files)?

@XerShadowTail Until December 31, 2023, we will continue to provide technical support and release updates that specifically address compatibility issues with Xcode 14, as well as critical security updates as necessary. The scope of the updates will be limited to these two areas.

@appcode @IsleOfTheKakapo Yeah, I realise that. Still a shame that it’s going away though as it looks so modern now. Is there no way it might keep going somehow? As a plug-in, or open sourced maybe?

@chrisajenkins @IsleOfTheKakapo The new UI is an IntelliJ-wide thing. In AppCode, we were just adopting it to some specific needs. It's in Beta in 2022.3

@IsleOfTheKakapo @appcode And I thought it had just been given a new lease of life with the New UI, kinda surprised they did that work only to sunset it immediately after.

@appcode Will Swift be still supported as a plugin in other IDEs?

@Sparque_ This hasn't been considered as an option at this point. Moreover, SourceKit is not used for refactoring, and for navigation it is only used in certain cases as a fallback.

@appcode 😳😟😞 surprising to me. I never thought there was any serious alternative too AppCode in terms of coding, navigation, running and debugging. Xcode is miles behind concerning editing and navigating code. Please consider open sourcing as much as you can of appcode 🙏

@orth_uk @jetbrains V2022.3 will work for active license holders as a fallback forever. Will it be enough for making the adjustments?
