@AlexGodofsky @christinapenn I’m guessing SUV over sedan is primary factor there. We will be getting a new ICE for road trips and smaller EV for daily in-town stuff. No chance on taking EV on road trip, especially if not on major interstate for entire drive.

My neighborhood has incredibly high EV adoption rates, and none of these people have given up their ICE vehicles altogether. EVs are for daily commuting only right now.

I'd like this to be true, and I do think it is about half-true, but I don't think it is anywhere close to completely true. A couple of points: 1. If someone takes a long trip even a few times a year, that's going to strongly bias them to a gasoline car because of charging waits
