For one of our brand new games we just launched I have spent $370 on ads and we only have 70 out of 500, despite having 30k+ visits. The average dev is genuinely cooked 💀

Roblox telling developers they need 500 highly engaged users before their game can grow is like telling a startup they need customers before they can advertise. Changes like this only make it harder for small developers to succeed on the platform.

It looks like Roblox is restricting all games to Ages 16+ by default. To reach younger players your game needs at least 500 unique age-verified 16+ players in the past 30 days. Otherwise your game stays locked to Ages 16+

If you own a Roblox game that has fewer than 100 active users in 60 days, anyone under the age of 16 will no longer be able to play. Creators can regain this ability if the game gains 500 active players in another 60 days. Learn more: devforum.roblox.com/t/alternate-pu…
