The wait is almost over! 🔥 In 10 days, the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off the biggest and most historic tournament ever. 48 teams. 3 host countries. 104 matches. Pure madness loading. Welcome to my World Cup coverage. A piece of my mind about the upcoming #WorldCup2026 This edition is special: • First World Cup hosted by three countries (USA, Canada, Mexico) • Expanded to 48 teams for the first time • Runs from June 11 – July 19 across 16 host cities Football is about to take over the world again. Favorites? Spain, France, England, Brazil, and Argentina are all in the conversation. But with 48 teams, surprises are guaranteed. Dark horses like Morocco, Portugal, and the hosts (especially USA) can cause chaos. The real beauty of this World Cup? We’re going to see new heroes emerge, old legends fight for glory, and pure football drama for the next 6+ weeks. So tell me… Who is your biggest favorite to win the 2026 World Cup?

Africa is sending a record 10 teams to the 2026 World Cup! This is historic. Let’s talk about which African nations have the best chance of going the farthest. A short breakdown 👇🏽#WorldCup2026 Tier 1 – Realistic Quarterfinal+ Contenders • Morocco — Semi-finalists in 2022, very organized, strong squad depth. Best chance on the continent. • Senegal — Talented squad with experience and physicality. Always dangerous. Tier 2 – Round of 16 Potential • Egypt — Defensive solidity + Mohamed Salah magic. • Algeria — Technical quality and experience. • Ghana — Athleticism and counter-attacking threat. • Côte d’Ivoire — Recent AFCON champions, dangerous on their day. Tier 3 – Dark Horses / Tough Groups • Tunisia — Very hard to beat, great organization. • South Africa — Improving rapidly. • Cape Verde & DR Congo — Capable of upsets but face tougher paths. My Prediction: Morocco goes the farthest among African teams (Quarter-finals or Semi-finals). Senegal as second best. The expanded format gives Africa a real chance to make history. Which African team do you think will go the farthest in 2026? Drop your prediction and reason below 👇🏽 Let’s discuss! #WorldCup2026

@PremLeaguePanel levels to this when kounde and gusto can’t do super defensive jobs now you’ve got to lean towards zaire-emery. crazy imo

Jules Koundé is a defensive RB profile who is not doing his job defensively and isn’t good in the final third. So you may as well lean into optimising Olise’s attacking game with your RB. Gusto got the nod 2nd half, but isn’t good defensively. So maybe Zaire-Emery RB is the move.

omo na another thread be this your reply 😂✅ but yeah senegal if all things align they would try to overcome that hard group and maybe go on to do better but surely they should do well. and as for morocco they’ve an easier group so they should qualify easily and progress also but let’s see how it goes. gonna be an interesting one

⚠️My bet is on Senegal!!‼️ This breakdown is spot on even though i consider Ghana as Tourists 😂. Both Morocco and Senegal in Tier 1 are the realistic quarterfinal contenders, with Morocco edged as the favorite to go furthest from the continent. I mostly agree, but their groups tell two very different stories. Morocco landed in Group C with Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti. They open against Brazil which is their toughest, no doubt — but their next two games look very winnable. Scotland and Haiti are sides they should beat, and with that famous defensive organization from 2022, they can grind out results. Their group is way more forgiving, so advancing as runners-up feels pretty safe. From there, the path could open up nicely for them to reach the quarters or even push for semis like last time. Senegal , on the other hand, got Group I with France, Norway, and Iraq. That’s brutal. They face France in the first game, then Norway with Haaland, and wrap up against Iraq. It’s one of the toughest groups in the whole tournament. Even though Senegal has stars like Mané, Koulibaly, and Jackson, plus tons of physicality and experience, getting out of there will be a real grind. They’ll probably finish second, but they’ll have to work way harder than Morocco just to reach the knockout stage. So yeah, both teams should make it through, but Morocco’s easier group gives them fresher legs and more momentum heading into the knockouts. I think they’ll both go further, I just lean my support on the more experienced team and the team that won the Last Afcon 😅

Good evening. Survived a long day at work only for Airtel to remind me that stress can come in different forms. At this point, I deserve an award for keeping my cool. Time to rest and recharge. Tomorrow is another battle.
