When you build a project to where Maresca did he ought to have been given the keys and control at least to an extent at Chelsea, immediately they dragged their feet there’s no way he would turn down control and the solid background at city.

Mark 🤦🏼♀️ Van de Ven isn’t why Spurs are struggling. He’s got an unreliable keeper behind him, Romero is a flight risk, full-backs aren’t great defensively… I could go on.
He’s quick, strong, young, good on the ball. Injuries are a concern but IF he could stay fit, there’s a good player there.

Inherited a terrible squad culture and implemented standards. Got rid of dead wood and only player performing from the exiles is Rashford.. Team was 6th when he left and on course for Europe.. Not saying he didn't have his flaws. Incredibly stubborn and should have won a lot more games. That Europa failure in particular was a self made disaster. But he left the club and squad in a better place.

Andrey Santos will be a MASSIVE star. Guimaraes isn't half the player at 22 when he joined Lyon in 2020.
This is Andrey's first proper season at Chelsea. I will give him a 7/10. I think he's adapting well. He will keep getting better.
At times, we forget the age of these guys.
